Who Are We?

We are simply a group of Christians (Acts 11:26) who worship and praise God together; we are a family who show love and care about each other and our fellow-man (Romans 12:10-13); and we are all sinners who have been forgiven by the amazing grace of God (Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23).

As a "church of Christ" (Romans 16:16) we are a non-denominational church "of" or "belonging to" Christ.  Jesus built the church (Matthew 16:18) and is its head or leader (Ephesians 1:22-23).  The preciousness of the church is clearly seen in the cost which had to be paid to purchase it, Jesus' blood (Acts 20:28).

Each local congregation is self-governed and has no hierarchy dictating beliefs and practices.  We follow the Biblical pattern of organization in that we have qualified men who have been appointed to serve as elders in overseeing this congregation (1 Timothy 3:1-7; 1 Peter 5:1-3).  Our purpose and intent is to honor God by worshipping and serving Him just as He commanded in the first century (Ephesians 3:20-21).  As such, we do not follow any human creeds and have no set of by-laws to follow other than the New Testament (Galatians 1:8-9; Hebrews 4:12).
